The typical journey at Harrow Shenzhen moves from IGCSE to A Level: building breadth first, then moving towards greater depth and specialisation.
But individual students do not always develop in exactly the same way.
For certain students, a bespoke pathway may allow them to study particular IGCSE subjects alongside A Level courses. This means a student can continue developing in an area where they would benefit from further IGCSE study, while also being challenged by more advanced A Level learning in a subject where they are ready to progress.
It is a good example of what personalised education can look like in practice.
Rather than asking a student to fit neatly into a fixed timetable or a single academic pace, we look at where they are,where they are going and what will help them get there successfully.

The IGCSE years provide students with a broad academic foundation.
